When emailing to register, we will need your name, full postal address and your contact telephone details and we will then confirm your registration by return.
Previous customers... Who have already been issued with a 'PB' number may retain and use the same number, when showing an interest to bid on lots.
Bidders... Can either leave a firm bid or a bid range on items of interest to them, which can be activated on your behalf throughout the auction period, should circumstances not allow you to personally engage with us during the sale. We are scrupulously honest and will never abuse your instructions by using your limit to create fictitious bids.
Bidding increments... Are as follows
£10 up to £500... £20 up to £1,000.... note... there are no £5 increments in our sales.
Email bids... Are accepted any time during the three-day duration... telephone calls can be accepted between 10am-8pm of the first two sale days (Friday and Saturday).
Note 6pm on the third day (Sunday).
Thereafter... Only emails accepted on Sunday between 6pm-8pm. Any emails timed at arriving at our office after 8pm on Sunday 23rd Feb will be invalid.
Please note 48 hours after... The end of the sale for the final realisation list to be posted.
If you are interested in any ‘non-sold’ items on the realisation list, please allow 48 hours before emailing or phoning, i.e from the 26th February.
As per our Terms & Conditions... Buyers pay a Hammer Price of 15% plus VAT totalling 18%.

Payments... Accepted by telephone via our card machine up to a value of £500 (Visa
and Mastercard debit cards only). We do not accept credit cards.
All transactions thereafter via Bank Transfer, cheque (payable to Railwayana Auctions UK Ltd or 'RAUK Ltd' is acceptable) or cash on collection. Payments must be made
within seven working days following the auction.
Collection of Lots
Winning bidders... Are invited to collect their items from the auction’s business premises at Toddington, Gloucestershire GL54 5DN by prior appointment at a mutually acceptable time slot during our normal business hours of 10am-5pm.
This must be strictly no later than 14 working days (Monday to Saturday) following the close of the auction. Items not collected within 14 days of the sale will attract a £5
(incl. VAT) per week storage charge.
Collection of Lot/s will not be released until funds have been cleared.
Due to feedback by collector's experiences in dealing with couriers and dispatch houses' 'hidden costs', we offer an insured 'goods in transit' delivery service AT COST to all parts of the UK using our regional agents.
We only dispatch items through Royal Mail if required...
There is a standard charge for packing of small items (minimum £10 + VAT, multiple items £20 + VAT) in addition to postal fees. Tracked and insured items at cost undertaken if required.
Consignments for future auctions can also be made via our regional agents, saving on your postage/courier costs and peace of mind against third party abuse of your valued items.

Brass Steam Locomotive Cabside Numberplate 7779. As carried by a Collett designed ex-GWR 57XX class 0-6-0PT built by Armstrong Whitworth, Newcastle-upon-Tyne in November 1930. Allocations included Old Oak Common, St. Philips Marsh, Barry and Radyr from where it was withdrawn in October 1958. In 1959 it was purchased by the London Transport Executive (LTE) and became No. L93 for mainly working permanent way trains from Lillie Bridge and Neasden. It was scrapped in September 1968 at an unknown site. This plate was purchased direct from the foreman by the vendor prior to renumbering, who was a fitter at the depot. Sold to DRS 12/00 and stored at MOD Longtown and then Carlisle Kingmoor. Sold again to HNRC and moved to Barrow Hill for preservation. Cast brass tender plate SOUTHERN - as affixed to the tender sides of the two first-built Bulleid Pacific locomotives 21C1 CHANNEL PACKET and 21C2 UNION CASTLE in 1941. For reasons that these first two locos were overweight, the cast brass numberplates, buffer beam plates and these tender plates were not continued and the locos reverted to painted numbers/letters. Diesel Locomotive Nameplate ROVER GROUP QUALITY ASSURED. As carried by Class 47 47323. New to 41A Tinsley 2/65 as D1804. Named at the Rover Plant, Swindon on 23/2/94 and carried until 7/96 when loco was transferred to Freightliner. Loco was withdrawn 9/01 and cut up at Basford Hall Yard by staff working for R Garrett of Middlewich 8/03. Nameplates were then fitted to Class 47 47236 at Tinsley depot 10/96 without ceremony. 47236 was new to 86A Cardiff Canton as D1913 10/65 and withdrawn from Bescot 2/99 and the nameplates were removed around 2000. Sold to Ron Hull Jr 5/06 for scrap but resold to WCRC and stored at Carnforth until 11/17 when it was cut into sections for disposal by a local scrap dealer.
